TV starlet Nayanika visits Bunty with a hidden camera.
In the mid-’80s, Gaitonde discovers a racket even more
lucrative than drugs and guns: politics.
In episode 4 of Netflix series Sacred Games, Nayanika and Sartaj are caught spying on Bunty,
and crime boss Gaitonde’s relationships are explored.
In the previous episode, a TV star named Nyanika (Geetanjali Thapaand) met with Bunty
(Jatin Sarna) — a sleazy, wheelchair-bound TV producer
with ties to criminal Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui).
Bunty notices that he’s being spied on through her purse,
to unveil details about his dealings. There’s a real danger for Nyanika. Bunty has a
history of violence against women under normal circumstances, let alone those caught
spying on him with a purse-camera!
When Officer Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) intervenes, he too is caught by Bunty and told to leave.
He refuses to leave without Nyanika, but they take her anyway. Sartaj and fellow officer Anjali
Mathur (Radhika Apte)
split up to find the taken girl. Eventually, Sartaj is captured again, and the henchmen are
commanded to burn Sartaj’s clothes and bode separately.
